As a forager in the pristine 6 million Acre Adironodack State Park, Melanie started creating and sharing her WILDERNESS TEAS, flour and mushrooms because she has seen a huge interest in foraging and in eating clean. People are beginning to realize that nature provides and wild edible foods are in the woods, marshes and forests if you know what you're looking at.
Mutton Hollow Homestead, her foraging store introduces alternatives to the normal teas you might see in stores and markets, Melanie has harvested the plants she uses to create her immune boosting teas from her land or in the pristine areas of the 6 million acres of the Adirondack State Park as well as using local honey and bee pollen from local bee keepers where she lives. Because of this everything is in small batch and she makes sure to keep the cost down to enable people to have access to wild foods. Taking the goodness of medicinal mushrooms and plants once a day puts you on the fast track of taking care of you and your health.
